This is Dolly, a rag doll. Sweet female, about 5 years old. She looks sad, and she is sad. When we got her 4 years ago she was a stray, loving, playful and well behaved. As a Rag Doll and a calico, as well as having sweetest disposition, fortune smiled on Dolly. She found a home fast. But as so often, especially if attraction is based on looks and degree (rag doll!), love eventually grew cold. So sad. Dolly started to pee outside her litter box (due to lack of attention, loneliness, confused?), and had she not been a Pound Rescue cat, such a crime would have swiftly been punished with death. Instead, we took her back. She does look sad, does she not? Cats who spray or are unreliable with their bathroom habits normally do not go for adoption. Yet Dolly is a female, we feel that in the right home she fully will accept her box again. She will be adopted out on a trial basis, if she comes back to us within a month, we will refund the adoption fee.
