Julie, an 18 mth young female Shepard cross, was excited to see us with food. Submissive to the more dominating dog there afraid of a battle she might not be able to win. So we ask around “ No, not ours, just hangs around, take it away.” Sad once again that people get puppies then once they are an adult they don’t belong to anyone. On to the next cute pup. Not fed at home so wanders, looking for food and love, not finding either. Now she gets that chance. She is fed, loved, and cuddled. A first since she was a cute pup that was entertaining for some children for a few months. Now she craves being with a human, lives children, women and great with cats. She is weary of men, in the past they weren’t nice to her, but now her main caregiver is a male she has a special bond with.
Julie is quick to learn and eager to be taught. She loves her walks and learned how to walk on leash after one day, but will walk diligently next to her human even off leash. She also loves her time in off leash parks, loving each new child or women she meets. Really she is a wonderful dog waiting for a wonderful home. Please adopt Julie.
