Koa Comes from a place that had 10 dogs. All were seized and taken to rescues. We were able to help with two of them. Koa came emancipated. So incredibly sad to have seen a pup so thin and still want to love humans, the ones that allowed him to almost starve to death. If rescues didn’t step in to help this pup would have surely died.

The differences a few short weeks can make!

So now!! 🐾 Say hello to Koa!

Koa is an 13-week-old black shepard mix with a gentle heart and a curious spirit. He’s discovering new things every day — from his own reflection to his favorite sunny nap spot.

He’s doing great with basic training, loves his walks (no pulling!), and is already showing what a calm and thoughtful pup he can be. Koa warms up quickly once he trusts you and has visited the pet store and other places to meet new people!

He’s still a little unsure around unfamiliar men and finds storms a bit scary, but he’s learning and growing every day. His favorite things? Sprinklers, sunshine, and freeze-dried treats.

He loves hanging with his foster puppy friend, he is great with all dogs and cats!

Koa is ready to find his forever home — could it be yours?
