BARN CATS

Not every cat is suited to life as an indoor pet. Some cats are happiest living in a barn, shop, stable, or other secure rural property where they can do what they do best, keep rodent populations under control while enjoying the safety of regular food, fresh water, and shelter. Pound Rescue’s Barn Cat Program gives these deserving cats a second chance with caring property owners who can provide them with a safe, lifelong home. All of our barn cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated when appropriate, and tattooed or microchipped before placement.
