Gracie

Gracie is a sweet and soulful rescue pup, believed to be a mix of Pitbull and maybe Catahoula Hound. After spending the first year of her life roaming outdoors, she’s now discovering the joys of indoor living — and doing it all with a heart full of loyalty and love.

Playful and gentle, Gracie has a soft spot for people, adult dogs, and even cats. She carries a high prey drive, a reflection of her independent past, but she’s happiest staying close to your side. She’s quickly learning her name (and loving it!), recalls well, and is picking up cues like “sit” and “wait.” Walking calmly on leash is a work in progress — especially when squirrels are involved — but she’s making steady strides.

Whether she’s curling up for couch cuddles or choosing the floor for her naps, Gracie is learning how to relax and enjoy the comforts of home.

Gracie isn’t just a dog who joins your household — she’s one who finds her way into your heart.

Gracie does have some itchy allergies that are controlled with diet.
