Izzy was born in January 2025. The first 10 months of her life were incredibly tough. Found as a stray puppy, she spent 8 months in the dog pound. No one wanted her because she was so scared of people. The longer she was there, the more depressed and afraid she became.
After a few weeks in a foster home, Izzy is a happy, active girl who likes every dog she meets and is growing in confidence meeting new people. She discovered a love of hiking and is always excited for a good walk. Once Izzy connects with you, she’s your sidekick. She wants to hang out with you all the time and share your adventures even if they’re chilling on the couch watching Dog TV – her favourite show.
Izzy would love a home where she has a doggy friend and where her people are around most of the day. A home with a family who like to be active, walking, hiking and having fun together is her dream.
Likely a Shepherd/ Rotti mix, Izzy is fully grown at 60lbs with a beautifully expressive face. She’s great with kids, dogs and cats. Izzy is fixed and has her Parvo vaccine.
Izzy has come such a long way from a frightened, sad pup that nobody wanted. Can you fill her world with the love she deserves?
