This is Jax, he is a sweet 6-month-old pup that has already overcome more hardship than most dogs ever will. In his earlier months, he experienced trauma that resulted in injuries to his ears and a broken back knee. His knee healed on its own before he came into care, and did so poorly. Despite everything he has gone through, he has such a resilient spirit.
He is an affectionate, and eager for love from anyone. He has a calm temperament and is learning quickly that people can be safe and trustworthy. He is learning his puppy manners and is doing wonderful learning them. He is also potty trained. While his past injuries don’t stop him from playing or enjoying life, he may benefit from continued monitoring, supportive care, or future veterinary guidance as he grows.
He is expected to stay on the smaller side once fully grown, making him a great fit for all types of homes. He is great with kids. One of the first things you will notice about him is his unbelievably soft fur—he’s truly a cuddle-lover’s dream.
He’s ready for a fresh start and a family who will see past his past and into his bright, loving future. With his soft coat, small size, and big heart, he’s sure to steal yours.
