Oscar is a 2.5-year-old gentle giant with a playful, goofy spirit and a heart just as big as he is. This handsome mix (Australian Shepherd / St. Bernard / Lab) spent his first two years in a home, so he knows what it means to be part of a family—he’s just looking for his next one to love.
Oscar is equal parts silly and sweet. He loves a good play session, but he’s just as happy hanging out with his people. Because of his size (and his enthusiasm!), he’d do best in a home with older teens or respectful kids who understand boundaries and dog body language.
Oscar has previously lived with a cat and done well, making him a great candidate for a multi-pet home with proper introductions.
it’s important that his future home sets him up for success with respectful interactions and supervision. He communicates when he’s uncomfortable and will thrive with people who listen.
Right now, Oscar is carrying a little extra fluff, so he’s looking for a family ready to help him get back to his best self with plenty of walks, hikes, and outdoor adventures. Camping trips? Yes please. Trail exploring? Even better. Basically, if it involves fresh air and his humans, Oscar is all in.
