Meet Ulysses, the perfect Valentines companion who ready to steal your heart and never give it back
Born around mid-July, Ulysses didn’t have the easiest start to life. He was found with his siblings starving and malnourishered, unsure of the world around him. Despite that rough beginning, Ulysses has blossomed into a sweet, loving boy who is learning every day that life is full of good things. He can be a little shy when first meeting new people or entering new situations, but once he realizes he’s safe, his true personality shines through. He warms up quickly and turns into a total cuddle bug who loves being close to his humans and soaking up all the affection he can get.
Ulysses is still getting used to living in a home and learning household rules, but he’s doing wonderfully and shows so much potential. He’s curious, gentle, and eager to learn, making him a great candidate for continued training and bonding. He absolutely adores other dogs and would love a canine sibling or regular doggy playdates. He also does well with dog-savvy cats who understand puppy energy and boundaries.
This sweet boy will need an active family with an active lifestyle-one that enjoys walks, playtime, and helping a young dog burn off energy in healthy ways. He has enjoyed learning what toys are and will happily play with them if he can’t convince his doggy siblings to play with him. Whether it’s playing, exploring, or curling up on the couch for snuggles, Ulysses is ready to be your loyal best friend. This Valentine’s Day, he’s hoping to find a forever home where he can finally feel safe, loved, and cherished for the rest of his life.
Ulysses is around 25 pounds, guessed to mature around 40 (but just a guess)
