Meet Lainey – our sweet “Two Step” girl! 💕
Lainey earned the nickname “Two Step” because of her adorable little bounce when she gets excited. She’s a gentle, affectionate girl who has come such a long way and is ready to find a patient family to continue building her confidence.
She is house-trained, though she may have the occasional accident if she’s feeling nervous or overwhelmed. With a consistent routine and reassurance, she does very well.
Lainey enjoys her daily adventures and currently heads out for a 1 to 1½ hour walk every morning. She walks beautifully on a leash with a halter, loves being off leash in appropriate areas, and is friendly with other dogs. She’s also a big fan of car rides and is always happy to tag along for an adventure.
One quirky thing about Lainey? She likes to start her day bright and early, waking up around 5:00 a.m. all on her own! It’s just part of her charming personality.
While she’s affectionate and loving, she’s still gaining confidence and will thrive with a family that understands shy dogs and will let her settle in at her own pace. She hasn’t been around children, so we can’t say how she’d do with them.
